RWD-Converted 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Coupe

This 2005 Lamborghini Murciélago coupe underwent a rear-wheel-drive conversion and was fitted with black LP 670-4 Superveloce–style bodywork as well as 19″ and 20″ BBS multi-piece wheels before being acquired by the selling dealer in 2025. Finished in Grigio Antares over Nero Perseus leather, the car is powered by a 6.2-liter V12 coupled linked with an E-gear six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. It is further equipped with a front-axle lift system, red-finished brake calipers, and scissor doors along with carbon-fiber interior trim and a Sony head unit. This Murciélago coupe has 48k miles and is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean California title.

Publicly unveiled in 2001 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Murciélago was designed by Luc Donckerwolke as the replacement for the Diablo. This example left the factory finished in Grigio Antares and was fitted with black LP 670-4 Superveloce–style bodywork from the German company DMC under previous ownership. The automatically deploying rear intakes have been programmed to remain up., and further details include xenon headlights, scissor doors, and a pantograph windshield wiper.

The 19″ front and 20″ rear BBS multi-piece wheels are mounted with Toyo Proxes Sport tires measuring 235/35 and 345/25 respectively. The car is equipped with active dampers as well as a front-axle lift system, while stopping power is provided by red-finished calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The right-rear wheel is bent.

The cabin houses manually adjustable seats trimmed in Nero Perseus leather and is accented with carbon-fiber trim. A Sony head unit has been added, and further amenities include automatic climate control, inboard shoulder restraints, and power-folding mirrors. Wear is visible on various interior surfaces.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel sits ahead of column-mounted aluminum shift paddles. Instrumentation consists of a 220-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer as well as auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 48k miles.

The mid-mounted 6.2-liter V12 was factory rated at 572 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer notes that the car has a modified exhaust system and is not equipped with catalytic converters. A replacement oxygen sensor was recently installed.

Power is routed to the rear wheels via an E-gear six-speed automated transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. The front driveshaft, differential, and halfshafts have been removed.

The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage. A lien is noted on the report, but it was released in October 2025.

The car cannot pass a California emissions test, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private party buyer.
