Meyers Manx Classic Buggy

This Meyers Manx Buggy is a Remastered Classic that is finished in Rose Copper metalflake gel coat, and it was purchased by its current owner in 2024. The vehicle is powered by a 1,904cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. It rides on 15″ white-finished wheels with chrome VW-stamped covers and is further equipped with Weber carburetors, a Sidewinder exhaust, a chrome roll bar, disc brakes, PRP bucket seats, Serape-style seat upholstery, a locking cargo trunk, and an EMPI shifter. This Meyers Manx Classic Buggy is now offered by Wob Cars, a BaT Local Partner, on consignment in California with a clean Montana title that lists the car as a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle.

The previous fiberglass body was removed and a Meyers Manx Remastered Classic tub finished in Rose Copper metalflake gel coat was fitted over the chassis. Chrome elements include the front nudge bar, roll bar, headlight buckets, and side mirrors.

White-finished 15″ steel wheels with chrome covers are mounted with 205/75 front and 30×9.5″ rear General Grabber A/T tires. The car is equipped with a Volkswagen steering box and a torsion-bar suspension with Bilstein shocks. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes at each corner.

The PRP bucket seats are trimmed in Serape-style cloth upholstery and joined by a black-finished dashboard, a trigger-style EMPI shifter, a dandelion-style shift knob, and a rear locking storage compartment that houses the battery.

The white two-spoke steering has a semicircular horn ring, and it sits ahead of centrally-mounted instrumentation consisting of a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 180 miles.

The 1,904cc flat-four is equipped with dual Weber 44mm carburetors, a spin-on oil filter, a degree pulley, Meyers Manx-branded valve covers, and a stainless-steel four-into-one Sidewinder exhaust system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos can be viewed in the gallery below.

The car is titled using the Volkswagen serial number 118916601, which is stamped into the frame and can be viewed in the gallery below. The Meyers Manx serial number plate reads M0013K2354P.
