IROC-Style 1974 Porsche 911 Coupe 3.6L 5-Speed

This 1974 Porsche 911 coupe is an IROC-style build that was completed in 2024 by Cobblestone Classics in British Columbia, Canada, at a cost of over US$213k. Finished in Guards Red, the car is powered by a 993-sourced 3.6L VarioRam flat-six paired with a 915 five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a Steve Wong ECU chip, tubular headers, a Dansk muffler, dual oil coolers, a Patrick Motorsports clutch, a front strut tower brace, RSR-style sway bars, Elephant Racing suspension components, Rebel S coilovers, 930 brake calipers, cross-drilled rotors, 15″ Fuchs-style wheels, IROC-style bumpers, flared fenders, a whale-tail spoiler, and Euro-spec taillights. The interior features a roll bar, low-back bucket seats, Repa multi-point harnesses, an aftermarket shifter, and power windows. Previously sold on BaT in October 2025, this mid-year 911 is now offered on dealer consignment, through a BaT Local Partner, with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, and a clean Washington title.

IROC-style bumpers, flared fenders, and a whale-tail rear spoiler were added before the car was refinished under previous ownership in Guards Red with black-powdercoated trim. Exterior details include H4 headlights with bright trim rings in addition to removed lower body trim and windshield wipers, pop-out rear quarter windows, Euro-spec taillights, and dual center-exit exhaust outlets. Clear protection film is applied to the painted surfaces.

Staggered 15″ Fuchs-style center-lock wheels are mounted with Michelin TB15 tires and are secured to 930-specification hubs. The lowered suspension features a front strut tower brace, RSR-style sway bars, Elephant Racing suspension components, and adjustable Rebel S coilovers. Braking is handled by 930-specification calipers over a cross-drilled and ventilated rotor at each corner.

The low-back IROC-style seats are trimmed in black Perlon fabric and are paired with Repa multi-point harnesses. Appointments include a roll bar, an aftermarket shifter, an RSR-style shift knob, a rear seat delete, a radio blanking plate, and power windows.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central 10k-rpm tachometer, a 300-km/h speedometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 22k kilometers (~14k miles).

The front trunk houses a full-size spare with a Vredestein space-saver tire as well as an Odyssey lightweight battery and a lightweight RS-style fuel tank.

The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was sourced from a 993 and was rebuilt before being retrofitted by Cobblestone Classics in British Columbia, Canada. Features include a 1995 Euro-specification OBD1 harness, a Steve Wong ECU chip, a VarioRam intake system, tubular headers, a Dansk muffler, and front-mounted and fender-mounted oil coolers.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Patrick Motorsports clutch kit and pressure plate and a five-speed manual transaxle.
