This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera S coupe was specified in Arctic Silver Metallic and has been fitted with Turbo S-style details including spoilers and front brake ducts. Its 3.6-liter flat-six features the Motor Sound Package, and the car was also optioned with aluminum cabin accents, a fully power-adjustable driver’s seat, a power sunroof, and cruise control. It also features a six-speed manual transaxle, 18″ 996-generation Turbo Twist wheels, black partial leather upholstery, a Pioneer radio, an Xtant amplifier, and air conditioning. This 993 C2S shows 47k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a compressor, a battery tender, literature, a car cover, a clean Carfax report, and a California title.
The 993 C2S featured widened bodywork, revised bumper covers, and a split rear grille, although a Turbo S-style rear spoiler has been installed in place of the latter on this example. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U), and it also has a power sunroof, a Turbo S-style front spoiler, and Turbo S-style front brake ducts. The 18″ 996-generation Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
Trimmed in black partial leather, the cabin was ordered with a fully power-adjustable driver’s seat, cruise control, and an aluminum accented shift knob and handbrake lever. Other features include air conditioning and a Pioneer Premier radio linked with an Xtant amplifier.
Aluminum-look instrument dials include a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 47k miles.
The air-cooled 3.6L M64 flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. The car is equipped with the optional Motor Sound Package, which added a revised intake and mufflers.
