This 1969 Chevrolet El Camino was repainted in black, and the interior was re-trimmed with black leather upholstery over custom-sculpted seat foam circa 2023. Previously powered by a big-block V8, the truck was fitted with a BluePrint Engines LS-based 427ci V8 crate engine with an aluminum block, aluminum cylinder heads, a forged rotating assembly, a Holley EFI intake manifold, and a Holley Terminator X electronic fuel injection system in 2026. Additional equipment includes a Cold Case aluminum radiator, billet hood hinges, and coated exhaust headers as well as coilovers at all four corners, hydroboost-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, and 17″ sport-style wheels. The bed features a Gaylord’s hinged hard tonneau cover, upholstered trim panels, and carpeting on the floor, while the interior has air conditioning, Dakota Digital gauges, and a Custom Autosound stereo linked to an amplifier and subwoofer. This modified El Camino was purchased by the owner in 2023 and is now offered on dealer consignment by a BaT Local Partner with service records and a California title.
The body is finished in black with a black vinyl roof cover and features tinted glass, Holley RetroBright headlights, and SS badging.
The bed has a Gaylord’s hinged hard tonneau cover, upholstered trim panels, and carpeting on the floor and tailgate.
The 17″ sport-style wheels are wrapped in 245/40 front and 275/40 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All Season tires. Coilovers were installed in the rear in 2021 and a Borgeson power steering box was installed in 2023. Braking is handled by hydroboost-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior houses a bench seat with custom shaved seat foam trimmed in black leather as well as a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. The aftermarket floor console has dual cupholders, and the car has air conditioning in addition to a Custom Autosound stereo linked to a JL Audio amplifier and a subwoofer.
The aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel frames a set of Dakota Digital gauges consisting of a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a tachometer surrounded by gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and battery voltage. The digital odometer indicates 18k miles have been added since the Dakota Digital gauges were installed in 2021.
