30k-Mile 2004 Porsche 911 40th Anniversary Edition 6-Speed

This 2004 Porsche 911 coupe is #1,337 of 1,963 40th Anniversary Edition models produced. It was purchased by its current owner in 2004, and it has 30k miles following registration history in Nevada and Texas. Its 3.6-liter flat-six was rebuilt and upgraded with an LN Engineering dual-row IMS bearing in 2021. The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Grey Natural leather and is equipped with the X51 Powerkit, a limited-slip differential, integrated fog lights, a sunroof, a sports suspension, 18” Carrera II wheels, heated power-adjustable front sport seats, a Bose High End sound system, and automatic climate control. This 40th Anniversary 996 is now offered as part of the Wob Weissach Winter Wonderland collection in California on dealer consignment with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, an owner’s manual, service records from 2006, tools, luggage, and a Nevada title.

All 40th Anniversary Edition examples were finished in GT Silver Metallic (LM7Z) and feature Aerokit side skirts, edition-specific rear badging, and a Turbo-style front bumper with enlarged cooling ducts. Additional equipment includes a sunroof, an automatically deploying rear spoiler, integrated fog lights, and polished exhaust outlets. The Carfax report lists “minor” damage to the front in a May 2021 entry.

The 18” Carrera II wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. All 40th Anniversary cars were equipped with a sports suspension as well as cross-drilled brake rotors and black-finished calipers. The wheels were cleaned and the brake fluid was flushed in March 2024.

The factory heated power-adjustable front sport seats are upholstered in Grey Natural leather and feature body-color backs. The seats were reconditioned and reinstalled in 2021 after a period of storage. Features include a Becker Porsche CD stereo, a Bose High End sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control.

A serialized plaque located on the center console identifies this as #1,337 in the 40 Jahre limited edition.

Instrumentation is accented by silver rings, and the digital odometer indicates 30k miles.

The 3.6-liter M96/03S flat-six is equipped with the X51 Powerkit, which added revised intake and exhaust manifolds, modified camshaft profiles and engine management software, and improved cooling for a factory-rated output of 345 horsepower. The engine was rebuilt by Moorespeed of Austin, Texas, between 2021 and 2021, at which time an LN Engineering IMS bearing kit was installed. Work is detailed further on records in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The clutch release cylinder was replaced and one of the jack plates was repaired in January 2021.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists factory colors, identification numbers, equipment, and a production completion date of February 25, 2004. The sale includes an owner’s manual, tools, and Porsche-branded luggage.
