2005 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster 6-Speed

This 2005 Lamborghini Murciélago roadster was the subject of a multi-year refurbishment completed in March 2026 and totaling over $340k. Work consisted of replacing some of the bodywork and repainting the Azzurro Aquarius exterior as well as resealing the 6.2-liter V12, reupholstering the blue interior, overhauling the active dampers, and replacing the clutch, exhaust system, air-conditioning compressor, water and fuel pumps, tires, and more. The car is equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, all-wheel drive, a limited-slip rear differential, 18″ Hercules alloy wheels, a front-axle lift system, a removable black soft top, a speed-activated rear spoiler, xenon headlights, automatically deploying rear intakes, automatic climate control, and a CD stereo. This Murciélago roadster is offered on dealer consignment by WOB Cars, a BaT Local Partner in California, with a refurbishment record, a Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

The Murciélago was designed by Luc Donckerwolke and was publicly unveiled in 2001 at the Frankfurt Motor Show as the replacement for the Diablo. This example was factory-finished in Azzurro Aquarius and was repainted following replacement of the bumper covers, rocker panels, and speed-activated rear spoiler. The windshield, grilles, and front brake ducts were also replaced, as were the door seals, taillights, and hood struts. Exterior details include a removable black soft top, a pantograph windshield wiper, xenon headlights, scissor doors, rear fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, and automatically deploying rear intakes to aid in cooling. An October 2011 entry on the Carfax report notes collision damage, with no other details provided.

Silver-finished 18″ Hercules alloy wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 335/30 rear Continental Extreme Contact Sport 02 tires produced in 2023. The car is equipped with a front-axle lift system as well as active dampers that were rebuilt during the refurbishment. Additional work included replacing the sway bars in addition to the brake pads and rotors.

The interior has been reupholstered using replacement blue leather and carpeting, and appointments include manually adjustable seats, a gated shifter, carbon-fiber trim, automatic climate control, inboard shoulder restraints, a CD stereo, and Focal component speakers.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a 9k-rpm tachometer as well as gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and oil temperature. The digital odometer indicates 15k miles.

The mid-mounted 6.2-liter V12 was factory rated at 572 horsepower and 479 lb-ft of torque. Engine-out work completed in March 2026 consisted of resealing the powerplant, fitting a carbon-fiber engine cage, and replacing the following components:

  • Exhaust system
  • Throttle bodies
  • Water pump, belt, and tensioner
  • Air-conditioning compressor
  • Power-steering pump
  • Spark plugs
  • Ignition coils
  • Fuel pump and filter
  • Fuel injectors
  • Air filters

Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear differential. During the refurbishment, the clutch assembly was replaced and the gearbox and differential fluids were changed.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned 2011 damage as well as Not Actual Mileage titles issued in 2023 by Pennsylvania and Montana, which the selling dealer attributes to the car being sold then in non-running condition. The vehicle’s current New Jersey title does not carry a Not Actual Mileage brand.
