This 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo remained under the care of its previous owner for over two decades, and it now shows 65k miles following registration history in North Carolina and Texas. The car is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential and is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over black leather upholstery. Features include xenon headlights, fog lights, a fixed rear spoiler, 18″ Turbo Twist wheels, power-adjustable front seats, Nokia Digital Sound Processing, a CD stereo, and air conditioning. This 993 Turbo is offered at no reserve in California by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a clean Carfax report and a Texas title.
The 993 Turbo featured wider bodywork, revised bumper covers, and a fixed rear spoiler to accommodate top-mount intercoolers when compared with the standard 993 coupe. This example is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (92U) and features xenon headlights with washers, integrated fog lights, and polished exhaust outlets. Close-up photographs of the exterior finish and trim are shown in the gallery below.
The silver-finished 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is provided by red Porsche-branded four-piston calipers over cross-drilled rotors.
The power-adjustable front seats are trimmed in pleated black leather, which extends to the door panels, dashboard, and center console. Carbon-fiber trim accents the handbrake lever and shift knob, and Turbo-branded floor mats line the footwells. Amenities include a cassette stereo, a frunk-mounted CD changer, Nokia Digital Sound Processing, cruise control, and air conditioning.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer, a 200-mph speedometer, an analog Quarz clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 65k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six was factory equipped with Bosch Motronic fuel injection and was rated at 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
