This 1995 Ducati 900 Supersport was repainted in yellow over a silver trellis frame under previous ownership. It was acquired by the seller on BaT in September 2023, who notes that the bike has remained on static display since their acquisition. Powered by an air-cooled 904cc L-twin paired with a six-speed transmission, the motorcycle also has digital ignition, dual Mikuni carburetors, Arrow carbon-fiber slip-on exhaust mufflers, adjustable Showa suspension, triple disc brakes with Brembo calipers, and three-spoke 17″ wheels, as well as a carbon-fiber front fender, a tinted windscreen, a black seat, a tail cowl, a rear grab bar, integrated turn signals, fairing-mounted mirrors, and a side stand. This 900SS shows 11k miles and is offered by Wob, a BaT Local Partner, with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, and a clean California title.
The bike left the factory with fully-faired bodywork finished in red and was repainted in yellow under previous ownership. Features include a 4.2-gallon fuel tank, a carbon-fiber front fender, a tinted windscreen, a black seat, a tail cowl, a color-keyed rear grab bar, a side stand, integrated turn signals, and fairing-mounted mirrors. Close-up photos provided in the gallery show corrosion present on the steering stem and on the right side of the frame adjacent to the engine mounting point. Work in October 2020 included repairing blemishes and repainting the side fairings and fuel tank as well as applying replacement decals and a layer of clear coat. Scratches are noted on the frame, swingarm, and wheels.
Three-spoke 17″ alloy wheels were mounted with Dunlop tires in April 2023. Adjustable Showa suspension consists of a 41mm inverted telescopic fork in addition to a monoshock attached to the swingarm. Braking components include gold-finished Brembo four-piston calipers mounted over a pair of 320mm discs up front as well as a two-piston Brembo caliper teamed with a single 245mm disc out back. The brake fluid was flushed in April 2023.
Clip-on handlebars are secured below the upper triple clamp, which fronts Veglia Borletti instrumentation consisting of a 160-mph speedometer, a matching tachometer with a 9k-rpm redline, and a bank of indicator lights. The inset five-digit odometer shows 11k miles, none of which were ridden by the seller.
The air-cooled 904cc L-twin features digital ignition, two desmodromic valves per cylinder, and a two-into-two exhaust system fitted with a pair of Arrow carbon-fiber slip-on mufflers. Service in April 2023 involved changing the oil, cleaning the dual Mikuni carburetors, and replacing the timing belts.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a multi-plate dry clutch, a six-speed transmission, and a drive chain. The clutch slave cylinder was rebuilt in January 2020, and the clutch fluid was flushed in April 2023.
