1987 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe M505 Slant Nose

This 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo is a factory M505 slant nose coupe that is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six linked with a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. It is finished in Guards Red over Cashmere Beige leather and is equipped with four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, a tea tray rear spoiler, a power sunroof, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, heated seats, and air conditioning. Work since 2025 has involved rebuilding the transaxle, converting the air conditioning system to R134a, overhauling the engine, and replacing the clutch and blower motor. This M505 930 Turbo coupe shows 60k miles and is now offered in California on dealer consignment with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, recent service records, a tool kit, an air compressor, a service manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Minnesota title.

The car is finished in Guards Red and is equipped with factory flachbau bodywork (M505), a package that featured pop-up headlights, vented front fenders, side strakes, and extended side sills.

The 16″ Fuchs wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires measuring 205/55 up front and 245/45 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated discs, and Turbo models received front and rear sway bars as standard.

The heated front seats are upholstered in Cashmere Beige leather. Amenities include air conditioning, an analog clock, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and power windows. The air conditioning system was converted to R134a in March 2025 and the blower motor was replaced later that year.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, fuel level, and boost pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 60k miles.

The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. The engine was overhauled in April 2025, with work including replacement of the piston rings, valve guides, cylinder head gaskets, valve cover gaskets, and crankshaft seal. The clutch was replaced and the flywheel resurfaced at that time. Two air conditioning condenser fans have been added, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle, which was rebuilt and fitted with replacement synchro rings in March 2025. The exhaust pipes and heat exchangers were sand blasted and cerakote-coated in 2025.

The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists the factory colors, serial numbers, and optional equipment, including slant nose bodywork.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
