This 1967 Mercedes-Benz 250SL is finished in Tunis Beige Metallic over dark brown upholstery and is powered by a 2.5-liter M129 inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a body-color Pagoda hardtop, a brown soft top, 14″ steel wheels with covers, power-assisted disc brakes, air conditioning, a Becker Europa TR radio, and a heater. The car was recently acquired by the current owner, and work performed under previous ownership in 2016 included replacing the shocks and brake hoses. Steel 14″ wheels feature hubcaps with body-color centers and are mounted with 185-series Blockley radial tires. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The brake hoses and shock absorbers were replaced in 2016.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in dark brown leather along with color-coordinated door panels and loop carpeting. Interior appointments include a floor-mounted shifter, an analog clock, a heater, air conditioning, and a Becker Europa TR push-button radio.
The two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring frames VDO instrumentation including a 140-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline as well as gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 84k miles.
The 2.5-liter M129 inline-six was factory rated at 150 horsepower and 159 lb-ft of torque. It features Bosch mechanical fuel injection and a brass expansion tank.
