This 1950 Chevrolet Advance Design cab-over-engine tow truck is said to have been refurbished approximately 20 years ago and was acquired by the selling dealer in 2011. It is finished in red over brown vinyl upholstery, and power comes from an inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The truck is outfitted with a Holmes wrecker body with a winch and sling, and additional equipment includes a dually rear axle, a roof-mounted emergency beacon, truck mirrors, and running boards. This Chevrolet COE tow truck is offered by the selling dealer with a Maryland title.
The truck was reportedly refinished in red with a white bumper under prior ownership. Features include an amber emergency beacon, driving lights, running boards, cowl vents, cab steps, and mud flaps. The wrecker bed is equipped with a winch, a sling, j-hooks, rear-facing work lights, and side-mounted controls. Blemishes are visible in the paint on various body panels.
White-painted 20″ steel wheels are mounted with a mixed set of 7.50-series front and 8.25-series rear tires, and stopping power is from drum brakes.
The cabin houses a bench seat upholstered in brown vinyl along with green sheet metal and black door cards that show age and wear. Features consist of a handbrake, a heater, a driver’s sun visor, and a fire extinguisher. Rust is visible in the passenger footwell.
The three-spoke steering wheel displays cracks and peeling paint, and it is fitted with a Chevrolet-branded horn button and a Brodie knob. Factory instrumentation consists of an 80-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and amperage. A bank of three aftermarket gauges is mounted under the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The gasoline-fueled inline-six sends power to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transmission and a dually rear axle.

The current Maryland title carries a “Not Actual Mileage” odometer brand.
