This 1960 Porsche 356B coupe has been repainted Radium Green and modified with a louvered decklid, beehive taillights, and fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in green leather and Pepita cloth. The car is powered by a replacement 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle and is equipped with 15″ polished wheels, vent windows, an aftermarket exhaust system, Koni shocks, and a radio blanking plate. This 356B coupe was acquired by the current owner in 2023 and is now offered on consignment by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, with a copy of the Kardex and a clean California title.

The T5 body was introduced for the 1960 model year with revised front-end styling, including raised bumpers and headlights. This Reutter-built example came finished from the factory in Signal Red and was repainted Radium Green some time ago. Beehive taillights, decklid louvers, and drilled door handles were added, while the front trunk handle and bumper overriders have been deleted.

The polished 15″ wheels are mounted with 185/70 Pirelli P6000 tires. The car was factory equipped with drum brakes at each corner, and Koni shocks are fitted all around.

The fixed-back front bucket seats are upholstered in green leather with Pepita cloth inserts, and the rear seats have been removed. A radio blanking plate is fitted in the dash.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames green-letter VDO instrumentation including a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline as well as a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 9k miles, and total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 1.6-liter flat-four was installed some time ago, and the seller tells us that it has been rebuilt.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle, which is also said to have been rebuilt. An aftermarket single center-exit exhaust system has been installed.

The copy of the Kardex lists the factory colors and serial numbers along with a production date of April 19, 1960.
