29k-Mile 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe 6-Speed

This 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera S is finished in Guards Red over Classic Grey leather and is powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six linked to a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a height-adjustable suspension, antilock disc brakes, 18″ alloy wheels, a sunroof, a deployable rear spoiler, air conditioning, power windows, and an Alpine CD stereo linked to a custom sound system. The car spent time in Texas, followed by over 16 years of ownership in Connecticut before the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2026. This 993 C2S shows 29k miles and is offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner in California, with an owner’s manual, a tool kit, a tire inflation kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Connecticut title.

The 993 C2S featured wider bodywork, a split rear grille, and revised bumper covers and side skirts in comparison with the contemporary Carrera, and this coupe is finished in Guards Red (80K). Exterior details include fog lights, headlight washers, heated power-adjustable mirrors, a steel sunroof, a rer window wiper, a speed-activated rear spoiler, black rear bumperettes, and dual exhaust outlets. The selling dealer tells us the trunk and engine lid struts were replaced in preparation for the sale.

Silver-finished 18″ Turbo Twist wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact tires which were fitted in preparation for the sale. A front strut tower brace is fitted, and the 993 was the first 911 to feature a multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by black Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors, and the system features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD).

The power-adjustable front seats and folding individual rear seats are upholstered in Classic Grey leather. Appointments include air conditioning, power windows, stainless steel sill plates, and an Alpine CD stereo linked to a trunk-mounted PrecisionPower amplifier and a custom sound system.

The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline as well as an 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 29k miles.

The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque and features a VarioRam intake system.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential.
