This 1971 Porsche 911T Targa underwent a refresh by Tre Motorsports of Van Nuys, California between 2022 and 2023, including a repaint in Conda Green, a reupholstered interior, and the installation of a replacement 2.2L flat-six and five-speed manual transaxle in place of the previous 912 powertrain. The removable Targa roof panel was re-covered at that time, while additional work since 2024 has involved refinishing the wheels and replacing the front brake calipers, shifter bushings, and fuel pump. This longhood 911T Targa is now offered on dealer consignment with service records and a California title.
The car was refinished in Conda Green in 2022, at which time the bumper guards, lenses, and Targa seals were replaced. The removable roof panel was also re-covered that year, and additional equipment includes a stainless-steel Targa bar, sugar-scoop headlight bezels, Euro-style taillights, vent windows, and dual side mirrors. Blemishes are pointed out by the seller in the gallery.
The 15″ Fuchs alloy wheels were repainted and polished in February 2026, and they are mounted with 195/60 front and 205/65 rear Michelin tires. The car was factory equipped with ventilated disc brakes at all four corners. The front brake calipers were replaced in 2024.
The interior was reupholstered in 2023, including rebuilding and re-covering the front seats in tan vinyl. The rear seats and lower dash were also trimmed to match, along with the door panels, rear sides, and rear deck panel. Replacement carpets were installed along with tan basketweave dash trim. Additional appointments include a Continental CD stereo, an aftermarket shifter, Coco floor mats, and a heater. The shifter bushings were replaced in 2024.
The four-spoke steering wheel wears an aftermarket lace-up cover and frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The tachometer was rebuilt in 2022 and the speedometer was repaired in 2025. The five-digit odometer shows 22k miles.
A 912 flat-four and four-speed manual transaxle were previously installed, and the powertrain was replaced with a 2.2-liter flat-six and five-speed manual transaxle by Tre Motorsports in 2022. The distributor, spark plugs, and fuel filter were replaced at that time. A replacement fuel pump was installed in 2026.
A Dansk sport muffler has been installed. There is rust in the front suspension pan as shown in the gallery.
