This 1988 Porsche 930 Turbo Coupe shows 54k miles and remained registered primarily in the Northeast before it was sold on BaT in June 2018 and relocated to California. Finished in Silver Metallic over Burgundy leather upholstery, the car is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six that has been modified with a K27 turbocharger. Other equipment includes a 4-speed manual transaxle, a limited-slip differential, four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, front and rear spoilers, a sunroof, a rear wiper, air conditioning, power windows, a 930S-style steering wheel, and a Blaupunkt cassette stereo. This 930 Turbo coupe is offered on dealer consignment by WOB Cars, a BaT Local Partner in California, with owner’s manuals, spare keys and parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
Factory-finished in Silver Metallic (L980), the car is believed to have been repainted prior to 2003. Front and rear spoilers were standard on the Turbo, as were headlight washers, fog lights, and a rear wiper.
Fuchs 16″ forged-alloy wheels with black-finished centers are mounted with 205/55 front and 245/45 rear Toyo Proxes T1-R tires produced in 2008. Braking is handled by four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated discs, and braided stainless-steel lines have been fitted. A front strut brace has also been added, and Turbo models received front and rear sway bars as standard.
The power-adjustable front seats were reupholstered in Burgundy leather in 2005, and the dashboard, door panels, and folding rear seats are trimmed to match. Additional appointments include air conditioning, power windows, central locking, and a Blaupunkt Reno SQR 46 cassette stereo.
The 930S-style steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation consisting of a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, fuel level, and boost pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 54k miles.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six has been fitted with a K27 turbocharger and was rebuilt in 2004 at Porsche of Nashua in New Hampshire.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
