This 2008 Porsche Boxster RS 60 Spyder is #1,817 of 1,960 examples produced to commemorate Porsche’s 1960 victory at the 12 Hours of Sebring. It has been registered in California from new, and it has 25k miles. The car is finished in GT Silver Metallic over Carrera Red leather and is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six linked with a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. Equipment includes xenon headlights, a black soft top, a rear spoiler, heated sport seats, a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, and cruise control. Purchased by its current owner in July 2011, this 987.1 Boxster RS 60 Spyder is now offered by the selling dealer, a BaT Local Partner, on consignment with a clean California title.
All RS 60 models were finished in GT Silver Metallic (M7Z), and equipment includes a SportDesign front lower valance, xenon headlights, a rear spoiler, a gloss black windshield surround, body-color roll bars, and dual center exhaust outlets. The Carfax report lists “minor” damage to the rear-left corner in a November 2024 entry. A December 2025 entry notes that the soft top was repaired. Close-up photos of finish imperfections are included in the gallery.
The 19″ SportDesign wheels were fitted with 5mm spacers from the factory and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) were standard equipment. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors measuring 12.5″ and 11.8″ front and rear, respectively.
The cabin features heated sport seats upholstered in Carrera Red leather along with a color-coordinated dashboard and carpets. Amenities include a Bose sound system, automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, cruise control, and a wind deflector.
A serialized plate on the glovebox door denotes the car as #1,817 of 1,960 RS 60 Spyders produced.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a hoodless instrument cluster housing a central 8k-rpm tachometer, a 190-mph speedometer, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 25k miles.
The mid-mounted 3.4-liter flat-six is located ahead of the rear cargo area and was factory rated at 303 horsepower and 251 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed Tiptronic S automatic transaxle. The RS 60 Spyder featured a revised sports exhaust system from the factory. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in November 2025.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident.
