This 1989 Lamborghini Countach is one of approximately 658 examples of the 25th Anniversary variant built during a three-year production run. The car is finished in Rosso over Champagne leather and powered by a 5.2-liter quad-cam V12 linked with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It rides on 15″ OZ Racing multi-piece wheels and is further equipped with pop-up headlights, scissor doors, and a V-shaped rear wing. Inside, power-adjustable bucket seats are accompanied by a gated shifter, electronic climate control, and an Eclipse head unit. Now showing 11k kilometers (~7k miles), this 25th Anniversary Countach is offered as part of the Wob Lambo Combo collection on dealer consignment with a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Minnesota title.
Originally penned by Marcello Gandini, the Countach’s bodywork was updated by Horacio Pagani for the 25th Anniversary edition of the model that debuted in 1988. Features include carbon and Kevlar body panels, gradually inclined air intakes with longitudinal fins, and revisions to the front fascia, engine cover, and sills when compared to earlier models.
The bodywork is mounted over a tubular steel space frame, and this example is finished in Rosso. Additional features include NACA ducts aft of the scissor doors along with pop-up headlights, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, and a V-shaped rear wing.
The 15″ OZ Racing multi-piece alloy wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Asimmetrico tires measuring 225/50 up front and 345/35 out back. The Countach features a fully independent suspension with coil springs and telescopic shock absorbers, while stopping power is provided by four-wheel ventilated disc brakes.
The cockpit features power-adjustable bucket seats upholstered in Champagne leather, which extends to the center console, lower dashboard, and door panels. An Eclipse head unit has been added, and further interior appointments include electronic climate control, a digital clock, and power windows.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel is paired with a dogleg-pattern gated shifter. Jaeger instrumentation consists of a 320-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 7,500-rpm redline along with gauges for battery voltage, oil temperature, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 11k kilometers (~7k miles).
The Bizzarrini-designed 5.2-liter V12 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection, a 60° cylinder bank angle, and four valves per cylinder. Revised intakes on the 25th Anniversary Countach allowed for the radiators to be mounted vertically for improved cooling. Output was factory rated at 420 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, the former of which is mounted in the middle of the car, ahead of the engine.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other reported damage.
The car has not passed a California emissions test.
