This 1974 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia coupe remained with its original owner until 2022, when it was acquired by the current owner and subsequently refurbished. Work reportedly included rebuilding the replacement air-cooled 1.6L flat-four, repainting the body blue, and reupholstering the interior in tan vinyl. Additional details include a four-speed manual transaxle, 15″ steel wheels, front disc brakes, pop-out rear quarter windows, chrome bumpers, faux woodgrain dashboard trim, and a retro-style radio. This Karmann Ghia coupe is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with a California title.

The car is finished in Olympic Blue (L51P) and received a repaint under current ownership. Exterior details include a left side-view mirror, chrome bumpers, pop-out rear quarter windows, dual “pea shooter” exhaust outlets, and a Bob Smith Hollywood license plate frame. The 15” steel wheels wear polished trim rings and chrome VW-stamped hubcaps, and they are mounted with 165/80 Petlas Elegant PT311 tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.

The refurbished interior features front bucket seats, a rear bench, and door panels that have been re-trimmed in tan vinyl upholstery. The upper door trim has been removed, and an earlier-style faux woodgrain appliqué is applied to the dashboard, which houses a retro-style radio.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer with an inset five-digit mechanical odometer that shows 83k miles. The analog clock and fuel-level gauge are inoperative.

The replacement air-cooled 1.6L flat-four was reportedly rebuilt under current ownership utilizing an (H5) engine case.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle.
