The second-generation Mono X was unveiled at Monterey Car Week in August 2023, with customer deliveries beginning the following month. The graphene-enhanced carbon-fiber body panels on this example are finished in Metallic Liquid Silver with Petronas Green and Brilliant Red accents that were reportedly inspired by the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 team. They are wrapped around a TIG-welded seamless tube steel chassis with a carbon-fiber crash box. The tail panel features a gloss black checkerboard graphic, and exposed carbon fiber is visible on the fenders and bodysides. Equipment includes a pair of headlights mounted under a plexiglass cover in the nose of the car as well as LED headlights and taillights, teal-accented side-view mirrors, a left-side air intake pod, a rear spoiler and diffuser, and a central taillamp. Paint protection film has been applied to the bodywork.
The 17″ OZ Racing alloy wheels are finished in black with teal rims, and they are mounted with 205/45 front and 255/40 rear Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. A set of four OZ Racing Alleggerita HLT wheels with Pirelli P Zero slicks is included in the sale. The pushrod suspension utilizes billet aluminum uprights, Eibach springs, adjustable Öhlins dampers, and front and rear anti-roll bars. Stopping power is provided by four-piston AP Racing calipers over ventilated steel rotors at all four corners.
The single-seat cockpit is trimmed in black leather and microsuede upholstery with white contrast stitching. Equipment includes an electrical cutoff switch, a fire-suppression system, a brake bias adjuster, an adjustable pedal box, and a six-point Sabelt safety harness.
The multifunction steering wheel features carbon-fiber accents as well as hand controls and an LCD display screen, and it is mounted on a quick-release hub. The digital odometer shows 1,972 miles.
The Mountune Racing-built 2,488cc inline-four acts as a semi-structural component and features dry-sump lubrication, a gas-flowed cylinder head, forged connecting rods and pistons, and a carbon-fiber airbox. Output was factory rated at 315 horsepower.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed Hewland FTR sequential gearbox, an AP racing clutch, and a Powerflow limited-slip differential.
Carbon-fiber underbody panels are fitted fore and aft.
A California BAR sticker is present.
