This 1987 Ferrari 328 is one of approximately 6,068 removable-top GTS examples produced. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery and power is provided by a fuel-injected 3.2-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a Fabspeed exhaust system, convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel ventilated disc brakes, a gated shifter, power windows, a Kenwood stereo, and R134a-based air conditioning. It was purchased by the current owner in 2020, and work performed since 2023 has included replacing the timing belts, water pump, drive belts, and ignition coils. This 328 GTS is now offered on dealer consignment with service records and a clean California title.
The Pininfarina-designed body is finished in Rosso Corsa and features pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, side air intakes, a driver-side mirror, a power antenna, a black spoiler mounted over the rear window, and quad exhaust tips exiting through the rear valance. A February 2023 entry on the Carfax report lists “minor damage” with no additional information, and the selling dealer states that the front bumper cover has been refinished. Staggered-width convex 16″ Speedline five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted ventilated four-wheel discs.
The seats are trimmed in beige leather and are complemented by color-coordinated door panels and carpets. Interior amenities include a gated shifter, power windows, R134a-based air conditioning, a Kenwood head unit, and a rear-window defroster.
The leather-wrapped MOMO Prototipo steering wheel frames Veglia instrumentation consisting of a 180-mph speedometer, a 10k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure and coolant temperature. Gauges for oil temperature and fuel level are mounted in the center of the dashboard along with an analog clock. The five-digit odometer on this 1987 Ferrari 328 GTS shows 59k miles. The speedometer sensor was replaced in 2016.
The mid-mounted 3.2-liter Type F105 V8 features Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection and four valves per cylinder. Factory-rated output was 260 horsepower and 213 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was completed in October 2023, at which time the water pump and drive belts were replaced and the air conditioning compressor was rebuilt. The ignition coils were replaced in 2024.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A Fabspeed Maxflo exhaust system has been fitted.
