Supercharged Coyote-Powered 1966 Ford Mustang GT350CR by Classic Recreations

This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe was modified by Classic Recreations with their GT350CR package. It is powered by a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 equipped with a Ford Performance 2.9L gen 2 supercharger and linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a Strange Engineering 9″ axle, and the car has been refinished with R-style details and a repaint in Glasurit white with blue stripes. It rides on A Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame front cradle and rear Quadra-Link setup with a Panhard bar, JRI coilovers, rack-and-pinion steering, 18″ forged American Racing wheels, and Wilwood six-piston calipers, and it also has a MagnaFlow exhaust system and a BeCool radiator with SPAL fans. Inside has been outfitted with a Flaming River steering column, Sparco seats, a harness bar, air conditioning, Classic Instruments gauges, and a custom audio system. This Mustang is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean California title.

Classic Recreations started with a fastback body and took inspiration from the GT350R in their styling revisions. A revised front fascia, hood, taillight bezels, and side scoops were added, and the car was repainted in Glasurit white with a blue stripe.

The car rides on a modified suspension with Detroit Speed components, including their Aluma-Frame front cradle, forged spindles, tubular control arms, sway bars, and rear Quadralink setup with a Panhard bar. JRI coilovers and a rack-and-pinion steering system were also installed.

The GT350CR also has a side-exit exhaust system with outlets ahead of the rear forged 18″ American Racing wheels. Six-piston Wilwood brakes were also fitted along with 265/35 front and 315/30 rear Falken Azenis tires.

Sparco seats and G-Force harnesses were fitted along with a padded harness bar. The car has air conditioning, a custom center console, and a custom audio system with a JVC touchscreen linked to Kicker speakers.

The MOMO steering wheel is mounted on a Flaming River column and frames Classic Instruments gauges. The five-digit odometer on this Ford Mustang GT350CR by Classic Recreations shows 1,700 miles, which represents the mileage driven since the build was completed.

Classic Recreations installed a 5.0 Coyote V8 with a Ford Performance 2.9L Gen 2 supercharger as well as a MagnaFlow exhaust system and a BeCool radiator with SPAL fans.

Power is sent to the Strange Engineering 9″ rear end through a five-speed manual.

A plate installed by Classic Recreations lists the vehicle’s serial number as SCR0008, and it is titled to the 6F07C240426 serial number below in California as a 1966 Ford GT350CR.
