The faired bodywork is finished in Silver Smoke with gold pinstripes, and features include a black two-up seat, a quarter fairing, folding passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands. A set of Krauser hard panniers is included in the sale and pictured above.
The 19″ and 18″ wire-spoke wheels with alloy rims are mounted with Michelin Pilot Active tires. Suspension consists of a leading-axle telescopic fork as well as a pair of adjustable shocks mounted to the swingarm on the left and the final drive enclosure on the right. Braking is provided by dual cross-drilled front discs fitted with single-piston calipers along with a drum at the rear.
The chrome-finished handlebar is mounted aft of MotoMeter instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7,100-rpm redline, and a column of indicator lamps as well as a voltmeter and an analog clock mounted in the fairing above. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles.
The air-cooled 898cc opposed twin features dual Dell’Orto carburetors, a chrome dual exhaust system with a crossover pipe, and an electric starter. Factory-rated output was 66 horsepower and 55 lb-ft of torque. Various gaskets and seals were replaced in November 2019, including the head gaskets, base gaskets, and pushrod tube seals. The carburetors, valves, and engine timing were adjusted at that time, and fluids services were performed.
The engine number 4981134 matches the numbers stamped on the frame and headstock badge, both of which are shown in the gallery.
Power is routed to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and an enclosed driveshaft.
