This 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M has 3,200 miles and is one of 499 examples produced to commemorate Ferrari’s 16 Formula One constructors’ championships. Purchased by the current owner on BaT in March 2023, it is powered by a 4.3-liter V8 paired with a six-speed F1 automated transaxle. The car is finished in Rosso Corsa and has black and red upholstery, a Tricolore hood stripe, a black soft top, 19″ Scuderia wheels, an electronic limited-slip differential, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, carbon-fiber interior trim, automatic climate control, a K40 radar detector, and a factory stereo with a removable iPod Touch. This 430 Scuderia Spider 16M is now offered on dealer consignment in California with a window sticker, a car cover, a battery tender, a car cover, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Montana title.
The 16M is fitted with lighter bumper covers compared with the standard F430 Spider as well as a carbon-fiber front fin, headlight housings, mirror housings, rear grille surround, and rear diffuser. This example is finished in Rosso Corsa with a black convertible soft top and a Tricolore hood stripe. Additional details include xenon headlights, heated mirrors, Scuderia Ferrari fender shields, 16M Scuderia badging, and dual exhaust finishers that exit through the rear valance.
Gray-finished 19″ Scuderia alloy wheels are wrapped in 235/35 front and 285/35 rear Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. The 16M features a stiffened chassis and a retuned suspension with ZF dampers and titanium springs. Braking is handled by red-finished calipers fitted over Brembo carbon-ceramic rotors.
The carbon-fiber-framed seats are upholstered in black leather with red accent stitching and textured cloth inserts. Black leather with red stitching covers the dashboard, while carbon-fiber trim accents the door panels, door sills, instrument cluster, steering wheel, center stack, and center console. Additional appointments include exposed diamond-plate aluminum floors, automatic climate control, drilled aluminum pedals, embroidered Cavallino headrests, a K40 radar detector, power windows, a factory stereo with a removable 16GB iPod Touch, and JBL speakers. The seller states the interior sticky buttons have been refinished under current ownership.
The leather- and carbon-fiber-trimmed steering wheel features an integrated LED shift light, an engine-start button, carbon-fiber shift paddles, and a manettino dial for control of dynamic settings. Instrumentation includes a central tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a 220-mph speedometer and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The digital odometer on this 2009 Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M indicates 3,200 miles.
The higher-compression version of the 4.3-liter F136 V8 employed for the 16M features a revised intake manifold and exhaust as well as carbon-fiber airboxes, and it resides in an engine bay with carbon-fiber bulkheads. Factory-rated output was 503 horsepower and 347 lb-ft of torque when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed F1 automated transaxle and an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Additional photos of the underside are presented in the gallery.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Scottsdale Ferrari in Arizona, along with factory colors, equipment, options, and a total suggested retail price of $322,724.
