This 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was purchased by the owner on BaT in November 2022 and is powered by a 6.0-liter Vortec V8 linked with a three-speed automatic transmission and dual-range transfer case. Finished in blue with faux-woodgrain trim over tan leather and cloth upholstery, the truck is equipped with 15″ alloy wheels, an aluminum radiator, a roof rack, a power-retractable rear window, power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a receiver hitch, and a Kenwood CD stereo. This Grand Wagoneer is now offered on dealer consignment in California with a clean Carfax report and a clean Arizona title.
The truck was refinished in blue under prior ownership and details include faux woodgrain trim, chrome bumpers, fog lights, a receiver hitch, a roof rack, a polished exhaust finisher, and a power-operated rear window. Paint and chrome blemishes are displayed in the gallery.
The 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 235/75 Cooper Trendsetter SE tires and feature chrome center caps with the Jeep logo. Power-assisted front discs and rear drums handle braking, and replacement shock absorbers are fitted at all four corners.
The seats have been reupholstered in tan leather with corduroy inserts, and interior equipment includes power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows and door locks, and a Kenwood CD stereo with Jensen speakers.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted to a tilting column and frames a 100-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 174k miles, approximately 150 of which were added under current ownership.
The 6.0-liter Vortec V8 was installed in 2019 and reportedly sourced from a Cadillac Escalade. A custom air intake was fabricated, and an aluminum radiator and replacement exhaust system were installed under prior ownership. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system using a shift-on-the-fly dual-range transfer case with a viscous coupling.
