This 2006 Audi TT coupe was retrofitted with a turbocharged 3.2-liter VR6 V6 and an o2M six-speed manual transaxle under previous ownership, and additional modifications include an AEM methanol injection system, aftermarket exhaust components, coilover suspension, NEUSPEED front and rear sway bars, Megan Racing rear camber arms, Cayenne-specification brake components, a 3.2-liter TT-specification front bumper cover and rear valance, Recaro Sportster CS front bucket seats, and a Bluetooth-capable Pioneer stereo head unit linked with a Bazooka subwoofer. Finished in Lava Gray Pearl, the car is equipped with a Quattro all-wheel drive system, 18″ NEUSPEED wheels, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and automatic climate control. Acquired by the current owner in 2023, this TT coupe is now offered in California at no reserve on dealer consignment with removed stock components, a Carfax report, and a Montana title in the name of the owner’s LLC.
The car is finished in Lava Gray Pearl and it has been fitted with a 3.2-liter TT-specification front bumper cover and rear valance as well as a carbon-fiber rear spoiler. Additional equipment includes headlight washers, integrated fog lights, an aluminum fuel filler door, and dual polished exhaust outlets. Blemishes are visible on the lower portion of the front bumper cover.
The car rides on ST Suspensions coilovers, and further suspension modifications reportedly consist of NEUSPEED front and rear sway bars and Megan Racing rear camber arms. Braking is handled by yellow retrofitted Cayenne-specification six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers with Audi Sport lettering over cross-drilled and ventilated rotors as well as braided stainless-steel brake hoses. Hub adaptors have been added, and the 18″ NEUSPEED RSe11R alloy wheels are mounted with 225/40 front and 255/35 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The stock front and rear seats were removed during the build, and a set of Recaro Sportster CS front bucket seats were added along with a rear strut tower brace, a rear cargo net, and an AEM water/methanol injection reservoir behind the right seat. Additional appointments include automatic climate control, a P3 Cars integrated gauge in the left air vent, a Pioneer Stereo head unit linked with a hand-free phone microphone and a Bazooka subwoofer.
The aftermarket flat-bottom steering wheel features red stitching and it fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,600-rpm redline, and auxiliary gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer on this Turbocharged 3.2L-Powered 2006 Audi TT Coupe Quattro 6-Speed shows 131k miles, fewer than 1k of which were added under current ownership. The Carfax report lists “Exceeds Mechanical Limits Title Issued” entries in July 2019 and January 2023, and the total mileage is unknown. The airbag system is currently disabled.
The retrofitted TT-specification 3.2-liter VR6 V6 is said to have been assembled under previous ownership with JE forged pistons, 4340 chromoly connecting rods, ARP main cap studs, RACEWARE Engineering cylinder head studs, and a Rothe Motorsport intake manifold. It has been fitted with a Precision Turbo & Engine 6266 Gen2 turbocharger, the catalytic converter and secondary air injection system were removed, and additional modifications reportedly include the following:
- Precision Turbo & Engine 46mm wastegate & 50mm blow-off valve
- United Motorsport Stage 3 engine management software
- Fluidampr harmonic balancer
- Fabricated water-to-air intercooler
- Chevrolet Camaro ZL1-specification intercooler pump
- Mishimoto dual-pass heat exchanger
- AEM methanol injection system
- Radium Engineering fuel surge tank
- Walbro fuel pump
- 870cc Siemens fuel injectors
- CTS Turbo fuel injection rail, turbocharger manifold, & downpipe
Power is sent to all four wheels through a retrofitted EEJ 02M six-speed manual transaxle and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system. An aluminum single-mass flywheel is said to have been installed along with steel shift forks for the first four gears, an FMH 02m final drive, and a Clutch Masters FX850 twin-disc clutch kit. A 42 Draft Designs exhaust system with bypass valve was also added under previous ownership.
The Carfax report lists the aforementioned “Exceeds Mechanical Limits Title Issued” entries, and the current Montana title carries an “Exceeds Limits” brand.
The car cannot pass a California emissions test, therefore it cannot be sold to an in-state private party buyer.
