This custom track-style hot rod project was partially assembled by the previous owner using a custom Art Morrison chassis and a Dodge Viper–sourced 8.3-liter V10. The included aluminum body panels were reportedly shaped by the previous owner using a computer-designed buck and an English wheel, and the steel-tube passenger cage is attached to the frame. Additional equipment includes a Roe Racing twin-screw supercharger, a six-speed manual transmission, an ATL Racing fuel cell, 18″ Fiske wheels, Brembo brakes, Aldan American adjustable coilovers, and Kirkey Racing seats. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, this hot rod project is offered at no reserve in California with parts and literature as well as a bill of sale.
The custom Art Morrison chassis was assembled under previous ownership with mandrel bent 2×4″ tubing and a tubular passenger cage with rear-hinged door bars. The prior owner reportedly built a body buck for panel shaping using a computer-aided design system, and panels were created using an English wheel. The body panels will require additional shaping and fitment. Raw aluminum sheet metal panels are included in the sale along with sections of piping.
The 18″ Fiske five-spoke wheels are wrapped in 335/30 front and 345/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires that show cracking and aging. The chassis features a C5 Corvette-based front suspension with Aldan American adjustable coilovers at all four corners. Brembo brake calipers are installed over 14″ drilled rotors. Brake lines are not installed.
The cabin is fitted with a pair of Kirkey Racing seat shells over custom diamond-plate floor panels. A pedal set has been installed along with brake and clutch master cylinders and custom-mounted fluid reservoir holders.
The non-running Dodge Viper-sourced 8.3-liter V10 is topped with a Roe Racing twin-screw supercharger. The engine is linked with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission and a UNITRAX drive shaft and rear differential.
An ATL Racing fuel cell is mounted behind the cabin.
A pallet of uninstalled parts is included in the sale along with unfinished body panels, piping, literature, and fluid coolers and fans.
A California title for a 1965 Dodge will be included in the sale, although no VIN or serial numbers are present on the vehicle or chassis.
