This simulator was designed for training crew members to operate the turret and weapons systems of an M2 Bradley infantry fighting vehicle. The simulator is mounted on a two-tier steel frame that rides on casters, and the topside of the platform has removable side panels and mesh steel flooring. The crew compartment is positioned below, and non-functional equipment includes grenade launchers, 25mm and 7.62mm machine gun replicas, and a TOW missile launcher. This M2 turret simulator is now offered by the selling dealer in California with a bill of sale.

The Bradley infantry fighting vehicle debuted in 1980 following years of development through the 1970s. The M2 variant was designed to carry a crew of three along with a six-person infantry squad, and this simulator mimics the operation of an M2 turret and weapons systems. The upper tier is accessed via removable stairs and has a steel mesh floor and removable side panels that surround the exterior of the turret. Grenade launch tubes and barrels for the replica machine guns are situated at the front, while a port at the rear is open to the interior and covered by a metal screen. An instructor’s control console is located on the platform next to the turret.

The interior houses crew stations, an intercom system, bore sights, a panel for rotating the turret, and controls for aiming and firing the machine guns. Instructional placards provide information for loading ammunition, locking the turret, and securing the hatches.
