This Ford 427 FE V8 was acquired by the owner in 2017 and built to displace 527ci in 2018 by Craft Performance Engines of Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Components include an aluminum block and cylinder heads, a 4.375″ crankshaft, a custom-ground camshaft, Diamond Racing pistons, Eagle connecting rods, and a Borla Eight Stack electronic fuel injection system. Polished components accent the engine, which is linked to a five-speed manual Tremec TKX transmission. An invoice outlining the build, handwritten specification sheets, dynamometer results, and a rolling cart accompany the engine. This V8 engine and Tremec transmission are now offered by the selling dealer on behalf of the owner in Thousand Oaks, California.

The engine features an aluminum block, aluminum cylinder heads from Robert Ponds Motorsports, a 4340 steel 4.375″ crankshaft, a custom-ground COMP Cams camshaft, Diamond Racing pistons, Eagle H-beam connecting rods, and Federal-Mogul bearings. Additional installed components include a billet Kirkham Motorsports oil pan, a power steering pump, T&D Machine rocker arms, Fel-Pro oil pan and cylinder head gaskets, Cometic intake gaskets, Concept One pulleys, a polished front cover, and polished Cobra Le Mans-branded valve covers.

The two-page invoice details a portion of the components used and is shown in the gallery below. A balancing certificate, handwritten specifications, and dynamometer results are also shown. The seller reports that the engine has not been run since it was tested after the build.

A Borla Eight Stack EZ-EFI 2.0 system with polished components and braided fuel lines is installed. The seller reports that the exhaust headers were fabricated to be installed in an aluminum-bodied car.
