An FE V8 has been modified to displace 482 cubic inches and features a COMP camshaft, a SCAT crankshaft, and an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and the car is equipped with a hood scoop, a single roll hoop, quick-jack bumperettes, 17″ Halibrand-style wheels, Wilwood disc brakes, DJ Safety harnesses, Smiths instrumentation, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. This MKIII Cobra replica is now offered on dealer consignment in Newbury Park, California with build documents, invoices, and a clean California title describing the car as a 1965 Cobra.

The 289FIA-style fiberglass bodywork is finished in Black with dual Titanium stripes and features a hood scoop, a single roll hoop, a Le Mans-style fuel filler cap, fender vents, quick-jack bumperettes, and side-exit exhaust pipes.

Black 17″ Halibrand-style wheels are secured with knockoff spinners and mounted with 275/40 front and 335/35 rear Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Braking is handled by Wilwood calipers over discs at all four corners.

The cockpit features bucket seats upholstered in black leather as well as DJ Safety harnesses, a dash-mounted rearview mirror, a cabin heater, and a fire extinguisher.

A wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts Smiths instrumentation consisting of a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and instruments for oil temperature, coolant temperature, voltage, fuel level, and oil pressure. An auxiliary coolant temperature gauge is positioned beneath the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 3,300 miles.

An FE V8 has been modified to displace 482 cubic inches and features a COMP camshaft, Crane hydraulic roller rockers, a SCAT crankshaft and connecting rods, Mahle pistons, a Melling oil pump, and an Edelbrock intake manifold and cylinder heads.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a differential with 3.73:1 gearing. A dyno sheet from 2008 is provided in the gallery below.
