This 1966 Chevrolet C10 stepside pickup was purchased by the seller on BaT in August 2022 and subsequent work consisted of lowering the suspension, notching the rear frame, recharging the air conditioning, replacing the transmission mount, fuel tank, and ignition components, and fitting a 383ci stroker V8, a Holley Sniper EFI system, a custom exhaust system, a revised torque converter, and exhaust headers. It is finished in teal with a white roof over white and gray upholstery and the truck is equipped with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, white-finished Detroit Steel wheels, a wood-slat bed floor, air conditioning, a Kenwood CD stereo, and a floor-mounted shifter. This C10 is now offered on dealer consignment in California with refurbishment records and a clean Florida title.
The truck has been refinished in teal with a white roof and tailgate lettering. Features include custom tail lights housed in the rear fenders, a rear roll pan, a wood-slat bed floor, dual side mirrors, and a chrome-finished grille and front bumper.
White-finished 20″ Detroit Steel wheels wear redline radial tires, and a full-size spare is mounted to the left side of the bed. Braking is handled by power-assisted four-wheel discs with a dual-circuit hydraulic system and steel-braided lines. Work under current ownership consisted of C-notching the rear of the frame, fitting a Panhard bar, and lowering the ride height via replacement springs, front spindles, and drop blocks.
The cabin features a bench upholstered in white vinyl with gray cloth inserts and teal piping, along with gray carpets and matching floor mats with teal bowtie embroidery. Amenities include air conditioning, a Kenwood CD stereo, and a floor-mounted shifter. The air conditioning was recharged under current ownership.
A two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and a Mooneyes half-sweep tachometer mounted on the steering column, along with auxiliary gauges displaying information for fuel level, oil pressure, battery charge, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 73k miles and true mileage is unknown.
A 383ci stroker V8 was installed under current ownership and additional work included fitting a Holley Sniper EFI system, replacing the fuel tank and lines, and ignition system components. Features include an Edelbrock intake manifold, finned valve covers, Accel ignition wires, and a Champion aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a four-speed 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive. Tubular headers feed a custom dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers.
