This 1974 Porsche 911 Targa is a steel widebody conversion that was overhauled in 2020 by Renn Haus in Sarasota, Florida. Its flat-six was rebuilt with Nickies pistons and cylinders, Carrillo connecting rods, billet camshafts, Carrera-style chain tensioners, and re-jetted Weber carburetors. A Rennshift short-shifter, a lightweight flywheel, and an oil cooler were also installed along with an Elephant Racing Street Performance Package and Boxster-specification brakes. It also has Fikse wheels, modern headlights, updated mirrors, a whale-tail spoiler, and a dual-exit exhaust system. This mid-year 911 is now offered in California on dealer consignment with records and a clean Florida title.
The car has been fitted with steel flared fenders and repainted black. An RS-style front end and a whale-tail spoiler were also added along with updated mirrors. Modern headlights and fiberglass rockers were installed in 2020 by Renn Haus.
The car rides on a modified suspension with an Elephant Racing Street Performance Package, Eibach sway bars, and Boxster-specification brakes. Spacers were utilized on the 18″ Fikse wheels out back.
The car retains bucket seats, and custom upholstery accents the door panels, side panels, and rear seats. The Alpine stereo is linked to door-mounted speakers.
The MOMO steering wheel also has red accents. The 9k miles on the five-digit odometer is not accurate, and total mileage is unknown.
