This 2016 Porsche Cayman GT4 is a track-only Clubsport model that the selling dealer tells us was sold new in England before it was purchased by the current owner and imported to the US in 2019. It has subsequently been used for PCA driver education and time trial events, and it was last campaigned in May 2024. The car wears a black, gray, and yellow wrap with #188 livery, and power is supplied by a mid-mounted 3.8L flat-six linked with a six-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a mechanical differential lock. Modifications performed under current ownership included the installation of Porsche Motorsports springs, MCS coilovers, a custom straight-flow muffler, a Vali Motorsports custom front splitter, dive planes, and vented fenders, a Designs by Jacob carbon-fiber rear wing, and AiM MXP and VBOX Video HD2 data-loggers with two cameras. Additional equipment includes 911 GT3 Cup–spec brakes, 18″ Apex forged alloy wheels, an air jack system, a roll cage, a Recaro carbon-fiber seat, and a Sabelt harness. This GT4 Clubsport has 9,500 miles and is now offered on dealer consignment in Newbury Park, California, with spare parts, service records, and a bill of sale.
The body wears a black, gray, and yellow wrap with #188 livery. The car features a custom front splitter, carbon-fiber dive planes, and fenders from Vali Motorsports, and the fenders were modified in November 2022 with widened wheel arches and the installation of fender flares and louvered vents. Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, front and rear tow straps, and a Designs by Jacob 1,800mm carbon-fiber rear wing. A replacement windshield was installed in 2022. 18″ Apex forged alloy wheels are mounted with 280/660 front and 300/680 rear Hankook Ventus slicks. Front suspension components on the Clubsport were adapted from the 911 GT3, while braking components included GT3 Cup-spec six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers over two-piece slotted and ventilated rotors. This example is fitted with MCS two-way coilovers, 140-140 front and 150-140 rear Porsche Motorsports springs, and an air jack system. A set of Krontec air jack props are included in the sale.
The cockpit is equipped with an integrated roll cage and houses a single Recaro carbon-fiber bucket trimmed in black cloth with an embroidered Porsche crest on the seatback as well as a Sabelt harness. A carbon-fiber panel in the center stack is fitted with electrical cut-off and fire-suppression switches as well as controls for the ABS and traction control systems. Further equipment includes air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, an AiM MXP data logger, a VBOX Video HD2 10 Hz GPS data logger with two 1080p cameras, and a lightweight Interstate battery mounted in the passenger footwell. A Schroth window net and a spare shift knob are included in the sale.
The flat-bottom steering wheel is trimmed in black Alcantara and features a yellow centering stripe. It is mounted ahead of carbon-fiber shift paddles as well as a 9k-rpm tachometer flanked by a 330-km/h speedometer and a digital screen. The odometer shows 9,500 miles, approximately 5,600 of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.8L flat-six was shared with the contemporary 991 Carrera S. Output was factory rated at 385 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transaxle and a mechanical differential lock. The car is equipped with a custom straight-flow muffler.
The car does not have a title and is not legal to register for street use. It is being offered on a bill of sale only.
