2007 Porsche 911 GT3

This 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 was first registered in Colorado until it was sold on BaT in November 2022 and subsequently relocated to California, and it was acquired by the current owner on BaT in November 2023. Powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, the car has been refinished in Guards Red over black leather and Alcantara upholstery. The sunroof was deleted under previous ownership, and the car is equipped with the Sport Chrono Package, a limited-slip differential, a fixed rear wing, a Shark Werks exhaust system, bi-xenon headlights, Girodisc brake rotors, black-finished 19″ magnesium wheels, a GT3 RS 4.0-sourced clutch and lightweight flywheel, pinned coolant lines, automatic climate control, European 996 GT3-sourced fixed-back seats, an Alpine dash camera, and a Pioneer infotainment unit. This 997.1 GT3 is offered on dealer consignment with removed components, an accident-free Carfax report, and a South Carolina title.

The 997.1 GT3 is distinguished from contemporary 911 Carrera models by its aluminum front trunk lid and doors, an adjustable rear wing, revised front and rear fascias, and center-exit exhaust outlets. This example left the factory finished in Guards Red, and it reportedly received a glass-out repaint following sunroof deletion under prior ownership. Additional exterior details include bi-xenon headlights, headlight washers, and a front tow hook. A replacement front lip, undertray, and wheel liners were reportedly fitted in 2022, and close-up photos of blemishes in the finish are presented in the gallery below.

Aftermarket 19″ forged-magnesium wheels with Porsche-crest center caps are finished in black and are wrapped in 245/35 front and 305/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires with production date codes from 2023. Braking is handled by yellow-finished six-piston front and four-piston rear calipers fitted over slotted Girodisc rotors. The 997.1 GT3 was factory equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) featuring adjustable coilovers.

The fixed-back bucket seats were sourced from a European-market 996 GT3, and they are upholstered in black leather with embossed Porsche headrest crests. Guards Red trim accents the center console, dash, and air vents, and further appointments include Guards Red seatbelts, automatic climate control, Porsche-script carpeted floor mats, cruise control, an Alpine dash camera, and an aftermarket Pioneer infotainment unit with a Match amplifier. Cuts in the carpeting from a previously mounted roll cage are depicted in the gallery, and the removed infotainment components are included in the sale.

A thicker-rimmed and leather-wrapped steering wheel frames red-dial instrumentation consisting of a 225-mph speedometer, a central GT3-branded tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 27k miles on this 2007 Porsche 911 GT3, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. A mileage inconsistency is noted in a March 2024 entry on the Carfax report, though the report states it may be the result of a clerical error.

The 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six features dry-sump lubrication, VarioCam variable valve timing, and titanium connecting rods, and it produced 415 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The coolant lines have been pinned, and the car is equipped with a Shark Werks center-bypass exhaust system with custom finishers in addition to a GT3 RS 4.0-sourced clutch and lightweight flywheel. A brake light switch was replaced in 2023 along with the battery. The car most recently passed a California emissions test in December 2022.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage, displays the aforementioned March 2024 mileage inconsistency, and lists history in Colorado, California, and South Carolina.
