This 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena was initially sold in Washington State and spent time in California through the current owner’s acquisition on BaT in May 2022. Work since 2020 included replacing the timing belts, cam seals, cam cover gaskets, thermostat, spark plugs, air filter, and rear tires, flushing the coolant, brake fluid, and power steering fluid, changing the oil, and refurbishing the sticky interior switchgear. The car is powered by a 3.6-liter V8 linked with a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential and is finished in Nero over Nero leather. Equipment includes a Tubi Style exhaust system, 18″ alloy wheels, a Challenge-style rear grille, a gated shifter, automatic climate control, and a factory stereo. This 360 Modena has 28k miles and is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a removed exhaust, two key fobs, a car cover, a tool kit, a tire inflation kit, and owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The Pininfarina-designed aluminum body is finished in Nero and features xenon headlights, a Challenge-style rear grille, and quad exhaust outlets exiting through the rear fascia. Paint protection film is said to have been applied to the side mirror housings, rocker panel intakes, and areas of the front fascia. The front bumper cover was refinished under previous ownership and exhibits a color variation when compared with the rest of the body. Close-up photos presented in the gallery show chips and blemishes in the paint.
Silver-finished 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with 215/45 front and 275/40 rear Pirelli P Zero tires. Braking is handled by red-finished Ferrari-branded calipers over a cross-drilled and ventilated rotor at each corner. The brake fluid was flushed in 2020.
The power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Nero leather with debossed Cavallino logos on the headrests. Sticky interior switchgear was refinished in 2021, and appointments include automatic climate control, a gated shifter, aluminum pedal covers, and a Ferrari-branded stereo. The cabin filter was replaced in 2020.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 220-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an 8,500-rpm redline as well as a digital fuel level readout and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 28k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership.
The mid-mounted 3.6-liter Tipo F131 V8 was factory rated at 395 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque and features a flat-plane crankshaft, dry-sump lubrication, dual overhead camshafts, five valves per cylinder, and a Tubi Style exhaust system. Service in 2020 consisted of replacing the cam seals, cam cover gaskets, thermostat, radiator cap, spark plugs, air filter, and fuel cap, flushing the coolant and power steering fluid, and changing the oil. The timing belts and tensions were replaced in preparation for the sale. The car passed a California emissions inspection in May 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
