This 1996 Bimota DB3 Mantra is powered by a Ducati-sourced 904cc L-Twin and is finished in yellow and black with carbon-fiber accents over a silver-finished alloy frame. The bike rides on black-finished 17″ Marchesini wheels and is further equipped with a Paioli fork, a Paioli monoshock, triple Brembo disc brakes, dual Mikuni carburetors, a two-into-four exhaust system, and a black two-up seat. This DB3 Mantra was purchased by its current owner in 2021 and is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a tool kit, a bike cover, two keys, removed mirrors, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean California title.
The Sacha Lakic-designed bodywork is finished in yellow and black and mounted over an oval-section alloy perimeter frame. Equipment includes a carbon-fiber front fender mount, a storage compartment and side panels integrated into the fuel tank cover, a two-up seat, folding passenger foot pegs, and a side stand. Black-finished 17″ Marchesini wheels wear 120/70 front and 180/55 rear Pirelli Diablo tires. Suspension consists of an inverted 43mm Paioli fork as well as a Paioli monoshock mounted to the swingarm. Braking is from a pair of drilled 320mm discs with four-piston Brembo calipers up front and a single 230mm disc paired with a two-piston Brembo caliper at the rear.
Raised clip-on handlebars are mounted above the top triple clamp. The instrument panel features carbon-fiber and faux burl wood trim and houses a 155-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm-redline tachometer, and a row of indicator lights. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 5,800 miles, a handful of which have been ridden under current ownership.
The Ducati-sourced 904cc L-Twin is equipped with dual 38mm Mikuni carburetors, electronic ignition, and a two-into-four exhaust system. Factory-rated output was 86 horsepower and 66 lb-ft of torque. Service performed in October 2024 included flushing the fuel tank, cleaning the carburetors, replacing the battery, and changing the oil. Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and a drive chain.
