This 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 is a black over tan example that has been registered in Michigan from new. Power is supplied by an 8.0-liter V10 paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 18″ and 19″ H-pattern wheels, a vented hood, fog lights, side-exit exhaust outlets, a cassette stereo, air conditioning, and a removable soft top and side curtains. This Viper is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with the owner’s manual and a clean Michigan title.
The first-generation Viper was designed in-house at Chrysler by Tom Gale and utilizes composite body panels over a tubular steel space-frame chassis. This example is finished in Viper Black (PX3) and features fog lights, side-exit exhaust outlets, and a removable soft top and side curtains. A Gen II Viper-spec vented hood has been added to this 1994 Dodge Viper.
The 18″ and 19″ H-pattern wheels were sourced from a later Viper and are mounted with Pilot Sport tires which show date codes from 2007 and 2008. The RT/10 is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel vented disc brakes with RT/10-branded calipers up front. 1994 models were not equipped with ABS.
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in tan leather that is complemented with a black dashboard and carpeting. Additional equipment includes a heater, air conditioning, and an AM/FM/cassette stereo.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 180-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline. Auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage are mounted atop the center stack. The six-digit odometer shows 25k miles. The Carfax report notes a mileage inconsistency in an April 2014 entry.
The 8.0-liter OHV V10 was factory rated at 400 horsepower.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
