1987 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe M505 Slant Nose

This 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo coupe is a factory M505 slant nose coupe that remained registered with its previous owner from 1995 until it was acquired by the current owner on BaT in January 2023. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Grand Prix White over black leather upholstery. The car is equipped with 16″ Fuchs wheels, a limited-slip differential, four-wheel cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes, a sunroof, a “tea tray” rear spoiler, power-adjustable front sports seats, a heated driver’s seat, air conditioning, and a retrofitted Blaupunkt SQR 46 DAB digital receiver. This M505 930 Turbo coupe is now offered on dealer consignment in California with a Porsche Production Specifications certificate, tool kit, owner’s manuals, a removed Blaupunkt cassette stereo head unit, a clean Carfax report, and a Montana title.

The car is finished in Grand Prix White and is equipped with factory flachbau bodywork (M505), a package that added pop-up headlights, vented front fenders, side strakes, and extended side sills. Additional details consist of a sunroof, headlight washers, fog lights, a “tea tray” rear spoiler, a rear window wiper, and a twin-tip exhaust outlet. Close-up photos of paint imperfections are presented in the gallery below.

Fuchs 16″ wheels with body-color centers are mounted with 205/55 front and 245/45 rear Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires that were installed under current ownership. The four-wheel disc brakes feature Porsche-branded calipers and drilled rotors all around. There are curb marks on the right-rear wheel.

The power-adjustable front sport seats are trimmed in black leather and are complemented by a color-matching dashboard, center console, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include a heated driver’s seat, air conditioning, Porsche-branded floor mats, power windows, an alarm system, Rockford Fosgate speakers, and a Bluetooth-capable Blaupunkt SQR 46 DAB digital receiver.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, oil level, fuel level, and boost pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.

The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque. Service under previous ownership between 2022 and 2023 reportedly included replacing the shifter bushing and performing an oil change.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car has not passed a California emissions test.

A Porsche Production Specifications certificate, manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo head unit, and removed Blaupunkt speakers are included in the sale.
