This 1981 BMW R80G/S is finished in Alpine White with an orange two-up seat, and it is powered by an air-cooled 798cc opposed-twin paired with a five-speed transmission. Features include a Monolever single-sided swingarm with an enclosed driveshaft as well as a front disc brake, dual Bing carburetors, Motometer auxiliary gauges, a center stand, and an electric starter. The current owner acquired the bike circa 2018 and has since added approximately 2k of the 50k miles shown. This R80G/S is now offered on dealer consignment at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a spare fuel tank, a spare solo seat, a tool kit, and a clean California title.

The Akront wire-spoke wheels measure 21″ up front and 18″ out back. Suspension consists of a leading-axle fork as well as a monoshock attached to the Monolever single-sided swingarm. Braking is handled by a front disc and a rear drum.
The cross-braced black handlebar carries dual mirrors and is mounted aft of a 120-mph speedometer. A Motometer clock and tachometer were installed in March 2020. The five-digit odometer shows 50k miles, approximately 2k of which were ridden under current ownership.
The air-cooled 798cc opposed-twin is equipped with dual Bing carburetors and electric and kick starters. Output was rated at 50 horsepower and 41 lb-ft of torque when new. Work in March 2020 included cleaning the carburetor and replacing the battery.
Power is transferred to the rear wheel through a five-speed transmission and an enclosed driveshaft.
