The bike is finished in black with white pinstripes and features chrome side panels, a Corbin solo seat, headlight-mounted mirrors, passenger foot pegs, and both center and side stands.
Wire-spoke wheels measure 19″ up front and 18″ out back and are mounted with IRC tires. Stopping power is provided by front and rear drums. Suspension consists of a leading-axle fork as well as dual shocks mounted to the swingarm on the left and the final-drive enclosure on the right. The fork was rebuilt and the rubber gaiters replaced in February 2022.
The handlebar is mounted to the upper triple clamp via a pair of risers that frame the adjustment knob for a steering damper. The headlight nacelle houses a MotoMeter combination gauge, which contains a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline. The five-digit odometer on this BMW R75/5 shows 77k miles. The choke cables were replaced in March 2022.
The 745cc opposed-twin features both kick and electric starters, dual Bing carburetors, and a chrome dual exhaust system with a crossover tube. Factory-rated output was 50 horsepower and 44 lb-ft of torque. The carburetors were rebuilt, a braided fuel line was fitted, and the battery and spark plugs replaced in March 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheel through a four-speed transmission and a driveshaft enclosed within the right leg of the swingarm.
