This 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 Bus has been refinished in two-tone blue and white over gray and is powered by a 1.5-liter flat-four mated to a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 15″ EMPI wheels, front disc brakes, pop-out windows, rear jail bars, a Dual receiver with Bluetooth, a CSP shifter, and a bamboo rear table, firewall trim, and headliner. This Type 2 T1 was acquired by the current owner in 2014 and is now being offered on dealer consignment with parts receipts, a tool kit, spare parts, and a clean California title.
Finished from the factory in Dove Blue, the bus has been repainted white with a blue upper section and features a pop-out split windshield and side windows as well as sliding door windows, rear jail bars, white-finished bumpers with overriders, a right side step, and reverse lights.
The 15″ EMPI wheels are wrapped in Firestone F560 front tires and Nexen SB-802 rear rubber. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums.
The cab features a split bench seat that is trimmed in gray and equipped with lap belts with Wolfsburg crests. Additional appointments include a cabin heater, a Dual receiver with Bluetooth wired to Kicker speakers in the door panels, a CSP shifter, a fire extinguisher, and aftermarket pedals.
The rear cabin houses a bench seat that is trimmed to match the front, along with Bose subwoofers and a bamboo table, headliner, and firewall trim.
The steering wheel fronts an 80-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. Auxiliary VDO gauges for oil pressure and temperature are mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 2,200 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 1.5-liter flat-four is equipped with dual Weber carburetors, PerTronix electronic ignition, and chrome pulleys. The valve cover gaskets were replaced and a valve adjustment performed in 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. Additional photos of the underbody are provided in the gallery.
