This 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190SL was sold new in May 1957 by Russ Sceli, Inc. of Hartford, Connecticut, and is said to have remained with the family of the original owner until September 2022. A refurbishment performed by Oldtimer Restoration Center of Harvard, Massachusetts, in 2016 reportedly involved rebuilding the engine, front suspension, and brakes as well as repainting the body in Graphite Grey and retrimming the interior with natural leather upholstery. The car is powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and further equipment includes a tan convertible soft top, tinted plexiglass sun visors, dual Solex carburetors, and 13″ steel wheels with body-color hubcaps.

The car underwent a significant deep cleaning under the current ownership – including replacing the entire soft top, polishing chrome gauges in the car, paint correction, and more.
