12k-Mile 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

This 2010 Porsche 911 997.2 GT3 RS is one of 541 examples built for the US market during a two-year production run and has 12k miles. It is finished in Grey Black over black leather and Alcantara and is powered by a 3.8-liter flat-six mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The car was optioned with a graphics and model designation delete as well as the Sport Chrono and Sound Plus packages. Additional equipment includes Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, red 19″ center-locking wheels, a front-axle lift, an adjustable rear wing, Dynamic Cornering Lights, and Porsche Communication Management with navigation. The current owner acquired the car in 2017, and service in December 2023 included changing the oil and transaxle fluid and replacing the drive belt and spark plugs. This 997.2 GT3 RS is offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a California title.

The track-focused RS model features an adjustable carbon-fiber rear wing and wider quarter panels when compared to the standard 997 GT3. This example is finished in Grey Black with red accents and was optioned from the factory with a deletion of the graphics and model designation badging. Features include Dynamic Cornering Lights, body-color headlight washer covers, and twin center-exit exhaust outlets. Xpel paint protection film was applied to the body in November 2017.

Red 19″ center-locking multi-spoke wheels wear 245/35 front and 325/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, three of which were mounted in 2023. The car was optioned with a front-axle-lift system and also features Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) with adjustable coilovers. Braking is handled by yellow Porsche-branded calipers over ceramic-composite rotors. The brake fluid was flushed and the rear brake ducts were replaced in December 2023.

The cabin features hard-back sport seats upholstered in black leather and Alcantara as well as body-color trim pieces and red seat belts and door pulls. Amenities include the Sound Package Plus along with automatic climate control, cruise control, Bluetooth, and PCM with extended navigation. The carbon-fiber trim was replaced in December 2023.

The Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel frames a central GT3-branded tachometer with an 8,400-rpm redline, a 225-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 12k miles, approximately 4k of which were added under current ownership.

The 3.8-liter Mezger flat-six features VarioCam variable valve timing as well as titanium connecting rods and dry-sump lubrication. It was factory rated at 450 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque. Service in December 2023 included changing the oil and transaxle fluid and replacing the serpentine drive belt, engine air filter, and spark plugs. A photo of a DME report can be seen in the gallery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Champion Porsche of Pompano Beach, Florida, and shows factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $164,320.
