Off and Away! Auction Closes On the 1990 Jaguar XJS Convertible V12

The gavel has clanked, and this Jaguar has found itself a new home. At a closing sale price of $13,000 (plus fees), we sold it for around $4000 more than it traded for last year by a different seller. Truthfully though, we aren’t surprised. This XJS finished in a gorgeous Glacier white was so well kept mechanically and aesthetically that anyone looking for a grand tourer with a brutish British V12 would have been salivating at the opportunity to collect this car. Recent maintenance records illustrate two previous owners who put a considerable amount of coin into the vehicle. However, if you were unconvinced by the mechanicals, the interior would have sold you. The blue leather showed only minor creases and the side bolster leather was unblemished and the stitches were unbroken. An interior in that kind of pristine condition with near 84,000 miles on the timer showcases how lovingly kept this kitten was. We hope that the new owner finds many happy miles soaking up the sun and letting that V12 roar.
