Over the Holidays we launched our Weissach Winter Wonderland collection, featuring twelve Porsches in a wintry mix of colors. Three of these cars set Bring a Trailer records, including this paint to sample Oryx White 918 Spyder with the Weissach Package which became the highest selling 918 on the platform of all time.
Nearly Double the Price in Just Four Years
This 918 sold back in 2018 for $1.5M and again in 2021 for $1.7M. Now, just four years later, the value has nearly doubled with a $3.1M sales price on Bring a Trailer. Hagerty points out that in prior sales, this 918 wore a matte black factory-applied Martini livery. But, does removing the wrap account for the spread alone? This result also speaks to the growing market for the beloved hybrid-powered hypercar.
Rarity and spec also play important roles here – as they always do. Combining the paint to sample Oryx White and the Weissach package, which just a quarter of the 918s produced have, this vehicle poses an opportunity to own something particularly special.
Hagerty points out that while this result is an outlier – it doesn’t seem to be any fluke. But rather, it’s representative of where the market is headed. They even pointed out that our midnight blue 918 with more miles and no Weissach package hammered at 2.3M in October of 2025.
Triple the Sticker
This 918 is example #652 of 918 and was ordered via Porsche Chattanooga in Tennessee with optional delivery at Barber Motorsports Park. The initial window sticker lists a total price of $1,009,275. Over the decade, the car appreciated over 200%.
