Gear Junkie’s Bryon Dorr says the 2014 Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 Weistec might be the way to make your luxury off-road dreams come true. We think he’s right!
This 6×6 Weistec is one of about 100 examples built in Graz, Austria. The twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V8 has been modified with Weistec Engineering turbochargers, downpipes, ECU, and exhaust. The truck is finished in Designo Magno Night Black over a black and porcelain quilted leather interior.
The G63 AMG 6×6 weighs over 4.5 tons and offers 18″ of ground clearance. With a built-in air compressor and in-cabin controls, the 6×6 can inflate or deflate tires based on terrain.
WOB Car’s Founder, Robert Dietz, shared in the comments of the auction, “Yep, she is ostentatious, over the top, insane, and so much fun! Weistec woke this truck up in a way that it very much needed as well. Comfortable, easy to drive and torque and power for days. There is no better way to go to that fancy restaurant, head to a formal party or frankly do anything than the Steyr 6×6!”
