Celebrating Independence Day with American-Made Automotive Legends

As we celebrate Independence Day, it’s the perfect time to pay tribute to the incredible contributions America has made in the automotive world. From modern race-ready machines to the classics we all know and love – let’s take a look at some of the incredible American-Made Legends we’ve had the pleasure of representing.

Ford Mustang

No discussion of American vehicles would be complete without the iconic Mustang. Launched in 1964, the Mustang quickly galloped its way into the hearts of car enthusiasts nationwide.

From the 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429 in Grabber Blue to the 1967 Ringbrothers Fastback and all the others in between, we’ve had a pleasure to represent some incredible Mustangs!

Dodge Viper

One of the few cars our founder would say is a “true race car for the street.” They are unbelievably capable, fast, make loads of grip and have brakes that stop like a water trough. If your GT3 isn’t giving you the warm and fuzzies anymore, have no fear – the ACR is here!

Chevrolet Corvette

In 1953, Chevrolet released the first sports car to come from a large American manufacturer – the Corvette. Even earning the nickname, “America’s Sports Car,” the Corvette has become an enduring American icon.

Chevrolet Camaro

In swift response to Ford’s successful Mustang, Chevy developed the Camaro – hitting the showroom floors in 1966 and igniting one of the greatest automotive rivalries in history.

Ford GT

To celebrate their 100th anniversary, Ford Motor Company created the Ford GT. It’s look paid tribute to Ford’s Le Mans-winning GT40 of four decades prior, blending nostalgia with cutting-edge performance.

We could go on forever with these rolling pieces of American history. From American President, Lyndon B. Johnson’s Lincoln Continental to our upcoming 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 Mark III – and not to mention the American Military vehicles that have rolled through our shop.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at WOB Cars!
