On June 8th in 1948, Ferry Porsche turned his dream into a reality when the Porsche 356 ‘No.1’ Roadster received its general operating permit. Today marks Porsche’s 76th anniversary which we see as the perfect moment to look back at our all-out celebration of their 75th milestone last year.
We had the honor of showcasing nine race-ready machines spanning from 1976 to 2012 on Bring a Trailer. Each of these vehicles have been blessed by the hands of accomplished Porsche drivers and raced at venues like Le Mans, Daytona, and Sebring.
Each listing in the collection featured not only our WOB-famous studio shoot but also an onboard lap with Patrick Long, three-time American Le Mans Series driver’s champion, at the wheel.
