1995 Chevrolet Camaro B4C Special Service Package 6-Speed

This 1995 Chevrolet Camaro coupe left the factory with the B4C Special Service Package, and it served with the Nevada Highway Patrol as a pursuit vehicle based in Elko, Nevada, until its transition to private ownership in April 2007. After changing hands in September 2012, a refurbishment was initiated that included rebuilding the 5.7-liter LS1 V8 and the six-speed manual transmission as well as refinishing the car in its service livery. B4C features include a 3.23:1 Torsen limited-slip differential, an oil cooler, and an uprated alternator, brakes, and sway bars. Further police equipment includes a Federal Signal Jetsonic light bar, a Federal Signal Stinger spike system, a Federal Signal Unitrol Touchmaster light and siren control unit, an MPH Industries K55 doppler radar, a K-band radar detector, a Motorola scanner and radio, and a CB radio. This Camaro B4C shows 143k miles and is now offered in California by the selling dealer with Nevada Highway Patrol accessories, antennas, multiple keys, a clean Carfax report, and a Nevada title

Finished from the factory in Medium Quasar Blue Metallic with a Sebring Silver Metallic roof to match Nevada Highway Patrol’s existing pursuit fleet, the car was repainted in its service livery circa 2012. Exterior details include a Federal Signal Jetsonic light bar, wig-wag headlights with corner strobing, a left quarter panel-mounted antenna mount, roof- and rear window-mounted antennas, and an integrated rear spoiler.

Silver-finished 16″ five-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with Goodyear tires. The B4C Special Service Package added oversized anti-sway bars as well as larger four-wheel anti-lock ventilated disc brakes. Work under prior ownership included replacing the panhard bar and shocks.

The 2+2 cabin features front bucket seats upholstered in black and gray cloth, and police equipment includes a Federal Signal Unitrol Touchmaster light and siren control unit, an MPH Industries K55 doppler radar, a K-band radar detector, a Motorola scanner, a CB radio, a flashlight, a reading light, and a speaker mounted to the rear-center console. Factory equipment includes a Delco cassette stereo, air conditioning, and power windows and locks.

The trunk contains a Motorola Spectra radio and a Federal Signal Stinger Spike System. A Nevada Highway Patrol button-down shirt is included in the sale along with Nevada Highway Patrol hats, badges, and tape.

The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 150-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 143k miles.

The 5.7-liter LT1 V8 was included with the B4C Special Service Package, and it was rebuilt approximately 4k miles ago circa 2012 along with the six-speed manual transmission. The B4C Special Service Package also specified a 3.23:1 Torsen limited-slip differential, a high-output alternator, and separate coolers for the engine, power steering, and transmission. A strut tower brace spans the engine bay.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.

The car has not passed a California emissions test. Bidders should review their local laws related to police-liveried vehicles before committing to purchase.
